If you are looking for something fantastic to do with the children, then Willow’s Bird of Prey Centre at Cooling’s Green and Peasant is a fantastic place to visit and is only a short drive from central Sevenoaks in the village of Knockholt.
Coolings is a great place for children and families, with lots on offer from beautiful plants, gifts, toys and books as well as the Blueberry Cafe. However, the main highlight is the six-acre Nature Trail and Bird of Prey experience which provides the perfect place for children to explore the outdoors in a safe environment. The Trail is a haven for wildlife but also home to Set in beautiful woodland and meadow habitats, you can explore the landscape on a network of pram and wheelchair friendly pathways, taking you through different areas of the Trail. Around the Trail children will love spotting various animals including goats, pigs chickens, ducks, geese, raccoon dogs, ferrets, a Falabella miniature horse, and the well-loved wallabies, alongside a wealth of wildlife and birds. There are even areas designated for bird spotting! Also resident on the Trail are Birds of Prey, including owls, hawks, kestrels, buzzards and many more!
The Nature Trail really is a lovely place to visit; it is great for getting close to wildlife and will soon become a family favourite.
